Overall Description of the Survey Data Although it may not seem possible, there are things that people can enjoy and still be drug-free. Whether it’s paintballing, rock climbing, kayaking, or ceramic painting, the people that participated in these activities had a good time- and no drugs were involved. Teens of different ages worked as a team, built their inner strength, and maybe even discovered a talent that they hadn’t realized they had. The purpose of these activities is to show kids that they can be high off of life- not drugs. There are numerous of activities just like these that fit to each and every person’s personality. Some are free, some cost a bit of money, but none of them will ask you for your life. It’s proof from these surveys that it is possible to have fun and enjoy an activity that is drug-free.

Several teenagers were driven to Crux Climbing Gym in San Luis Obispo where they participated in rock climbing. Teens of different ages were able to enjoy themselves and their surroundings, all while getting a good workout! After their hard work, the group enjoyed a delicious meal from Frank’s Hot Dogs. Overall, the kids really enjoyed the day and it provided them with another idea of a fun, drug-free activity.

General Description: Paintballing is an activity that usually receives a lot of positive feedback and the group of kids that went, in this case, had a blast. Varying in age and gender, teenagers were able to work as team and have fun. And for some people, paintballing wasn’t even their favorite part! The orange chicken and other savory items by Panda Express were well appreciated by the group after a long day of shooting each other with paintballs. At the end of the day, the kids went home full and satisfied.

General Feedback: After driving along the road, the kids were ready to go and kayak in the water of Morro Bay. Kayaking provides such an adventure and ability to explore that the group really enjoyed themselves. Although the weather did get a little chilly, everyone was instantly warmed up with a warm, tasty hamburger. Just as easy as kayaking was to this group, it’s easy to say that they all had a great time.

General Description: Surprisingly enough, out of kayaking, paintballing, and rock climbing, this activity ranked the highest in average ratings! Serendipity in Atascadero provided a unique and entertaining activity that guys and girls certainly enjoyed. Teens were encouraged to be creative, in which they felt that the people and the environment were very comfortable and inviting. Throughout the activity, this group got to express their artistic ability and create something that was meaningful to them.
